Kart Bros is a proper race: there are opponents, there is a finish line, and there are items on the track that will absolutely be used against you.
How to play
Accelerate, take the racing line and drift through the tighter corners to keep speed. Power-ups picked up on track can be used to gain places or defend one.

01Start the drift before the corner, not at the apex.
02Hold a defensive item behind you rather than firing it the moment you get it.
03Slow in, fast out. Carrying speed onto the straight beats braking late into the turn.
04The inside line is shorter but usually more crowded on lap one.
