Copyright Infringement Notice Procedure

If you own rights to something on this site and want it removed, this page tells you exactly where to write and what to include. We would rather hear from you directly than read about it from a host or an ad network.
Where to send a notice
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright notice". This address is monitored and copyright mail is handled before anything else.
What the notice needs to contain
So that we can act on it without going back and forth, please include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work you say is infringed; the exact URL or URLs on driftboss.vip that you want removed; your name, address, telephone number and email; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights owner.
What we do when we receive one
We aim to act within two business days. A page complained about is taken down or its embed removed while the claim is reviewed, rather than after. If a game is removed, the page for it goes with it — we do not leave an empty shell behind for search engines.
A note on how the games are served
Games on this site are not stored on our servers. Each runs in a frame served by the host named on the page. If your complaint concerns the game files themselves, that host also needs to hear from you — but tell us as well and we will remove the embed from our side regardless of what they do.
Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, write to the same address with your contact details, the material and its former location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error. We will pass it to the original complainant.
False claims
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or a counter-notice carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). Please be sure before you send one.
