Escape Road is a chase with no finish line. One patrol car becomes four, four becomes a roadblock, and the only win condition is staying loose for a little longer than last time.

How to play

Drive anywhere the map lets you — roads, verges, car parks. If the police pin you in place for more than three seconds the run is over, and so is hitting a building, traffic, a tree or the water.

Tips & tactics

01Keep moving above all else. Being stationary for three seconds is the actual fail state.

02Open ground beats narrow streets — junctions are where they box you in.

03Reverse out of a pin rather than trying to steer through it.

04Water looks like an escape route and is not one.

About Escape Road

Escape Road is a survival driver: the city is an open playground, and the police get more numerous and more organised the longer you last.

There is no health bar. You are either free and moving or you are finished, which keeps every run tense from the first corner.

Two ways: the police hold you stopped in one spot for over three seconds, or you crash into a building, traffic, a tree or drive into water.

Can I fight back?

No. There are no weapons — the whole game is positioning and momentum.

Do the police get faster?

They get more numerous and start cutting corners to intercept, which is worse than raw speed.
